Weight has become a serious problem nowadays. Even people looking appealing try to lose weight. Every other person I know is on a weight loss diet. There is a wide range of choices: from severe diets like the low carbohydrate Atkins diet, the cabbage soup diet, or the negative calories diet, up to George Oshawa’s macrobiotic diet, each of them has its addicts. Some people even try several diets: when they see one does not take them to their dream weight, they move on to another, and so on. This is the so-called yo-yo effect, when one’s weight repeatedly varies due to misbalanced diets. Usually, diet addicts are also weight tracking addicted.
