Leave aside for a couple of minutes all affiliate programs which bring you $10 per month, all blogs which are so hard to maintain and so fragile in front of internet G…iants. Forget about your PPC campaigns which bring you nothing but trouble and losses. Forget even my group writing project which could bring you $100.
Today you are dealing with immortality.
If you are good at writing poems, this could be your lucky day. Not only poetry is immortal, but it can also bring you some quick cash:
- A $25 Target gift card every day
- $1,000 on December 15th, 2007
- $10,000 on January 15th, 2008
The poetry contest is free and fun, and the only condition to participate is that the poem and all its rights belong to you. The poem can tackle any topic and it can be written in any style. You are restricted to submit only one poem per month.
So, what are you waiting for? You finished reading here, so go and enter the free poetry contest to win $10,000, and buy me lunch after you win, because I gave you the tip 😆
Update: contest is over, nobody bought me lunch
Seems like a good campaign by Target.
Yes, ThoughtSponge, it may be possible, although I’m not 100% sure. However, this doesn’t change the fact that ad-hoc poets have the chance to win some nice prizes, does it?
I once submitted a short poem to Poetry.com for one of their contests, to be included in an anthology. They responded and told me that I’d been accepted/chosen to be in the book, and went on to tell me that to get my copy, I would need to send them a check for somewhere around $25-$35. I later heard from some friends that had done the same thing, and the same thing happened to them. I don’t doubt that someone will win the money or whatever, but I just thought people should know that this website is, even if just a little bit, a scam.
Thank you, Eric, I had no idea they were doing that. I just happen to like writing and reading poems, and I thought it was cool to participate in such contests.
